Re: [7-1091000006052] Your Google Support inquiry

Hi.  Its me again.  As I did respond to Google Wallet on many more occasions to try to resolve this, I finally got frustrated getting the same response over and over and over and over and over again and took a break.

So, I need to resolve this and i REALLY do not want to complete the complaint that I started completing with the Federal Trade Commission, so I called customer service again. Mark suggested I respond once more to this specific email thread, which I am doing.

You know, I did try to just drop it.  Walk away from this stupid, and I tried to just email the money out of my google wallet and so i didn't have to do anything else, But, that wasn't an option either.  So, now, we need to really resolve this between ourselves or I will need to get the Federal Trade Commission involved for a $3.00 charge.

That $3.00 charge, was probably payment for parking charges I DID actually occur, just not on 1/22/15 when it was posted.  As I relayed to the person I followed up with next, I cannot confirm a parking meter charge because they do not give a receipt.  I do not remember now where the last customer service representative left that verification part of it, all I remember is i go really frustrated because no one could answer my questions except with information that did not answer my questions nor offer me solutions I was comfortable with at all.  i gave up.  but now, sigh, here we go again.  Let's try to get this resolved this time.

Please follow-up with the City of Los Angeles to verify it was a latent charge, and what day the charge was actually incurred.  While no one else could give me that information, I would think that's what a fraud department could do -- verify where and when and who was making a claim to my wallet when it surprised me with its timing, and I raised a red flag.

And, i really would appreciate that NO ONE from Google Wallet ever tells me again that anything they did was for my "security" especially with respect to cancelling my wallet (which posed its most inconvenience of realities on the day that happened).

So, this is where we are:

(1) We need to confirm the date the actual charge the City of Los Angeles which was processed on 1/22/15, so that I may cross-reference that with my calendar to see if its a valid charge.  If we discover that yeah its an slow charge coming through, Google Wallet needs to pay them the $3.00.

(2) We need to reestablish trust in our relationship and your services as a manager of money.  We will work on number 1 first and see if this is even a possibility.

This may have been a simple mistake on the part of someone not paying close enough attention to the matters they are given authority over, in which case, the breach of security lies in Google Wallet's handling of charges between merchants and customers -- to the detriment, inconvenience and insecurity of both parties.

As I view it, Google Wallet's processing partner/sub-contractor is too errant to do anything for my security because they do not understand real security and what that means when managing someone's "wallet".  In effect, on the day I said, "whoa, there's something not quite right," Google stole my wallet and the $3.00 they should have paid to the City of Los Angeles (which I also have a vested interested in as I am a citizen and it is my government).  Now, $3.00, really, not that big of a deal, yet compounded by a consistent practice of incompetence, and since this is the second instance like this on my account-- now you can see why i would file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.

I would like to KNOW that Google Wallet actually cares for my security and the security of the planet in general and will not waste the resources unnecessarily to fix their mistake when some simple strokes of a keyboard will rectify a simple mistake carelessly made and reactivate the Wallet I still have.  Yes, I do deeply attach my security to the use of our planet's resources wisely, and if Google is so flip about just one more piece of plastic, one more postage trip on a plane, truck and van used to transport it, the ink, the paper, all of it, Google Wallet better let me just email my money out of my wallet very simply and directly. We do not share the same values or sense of security and I really do not want to do business with a company like that.  It is why i left the banks altogether.

Please consider what I have written and advise me of your plan of action.

Thank you.
